“Tokyo Revengers” is a manga created by Japanese manga artist Ken Wakui. The protagonist, Takemichi Hanagaki, can’t catch a break and lives in a dilapidated old apartment. He learns on TV that his former middle school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, was killed in a gang fight. One day, while waiting for the train, he falls onto the tracks and thinks he’s going to die, but he wakes up 12 years in the past to his middle school days. He meets Hinata’s younger brother, Naoto Tachibana, who tells him about what will happen in 12 years and asks him to protect his sister. After shaking hands, Takemichi returns to the present day.
